If it is, they are saying you can get OW certification through SSI, SDI, and NAUI.
They also say that they have an absolutely revolutionary approach to scuba instruction: "The Dive Shop introduces a revolutionary approach to scuba training. ... At The Dive Shop we have revolutionized this age old concept with our new and exciting Three Step Programme!!"
Their "absolutely revolutionary," "new and exciting" programme has the following three steps:
1. Home study, in which students get the academic materials ahead of time and study at home before instruction begins.
2. Classroom review and pool instruction on basic skills
3. 4 experience dives in the open water.
Amazing! How is it that none of the major agencies never thought of this?
