Ok so I picked up a tank the other day and I feel like I got a pretty good deal, but not having bought many tanks its always hard to say.

Its a Faber LP108 Born in 2004 (needs hydro) in pristine condition and stored with 1200PSI. It has the tank boot and looks brand new...paid $40.00

So my question is......Deal? or No Deal?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you everyone for the fast responses. It is immaculate and is under pressure. I was stored in a closet and looks brand new. It goes to Hydro tomorrow...so I have my fingers crossed :D

Thanks again!

Either it fails visual and/or hydro or you bought a stolen tank.. id still be hoping for the latter in your case, ha

Got the tank back from Hydro yesterday! It's a keeper!!

Actually the story behind the tank is kinda interesting..I found it on Craigslist...the owner had passed away, the family assumed it was junk and intended to "throw it in the trash" (what a mess that would have been), however the daughter in law suggested seeing if they could atleast get a couple of bucks for it on craiglists. I literally saw it within minutes of it being posts. It is simply one of those excellent deals that on rare occassions can be found. Interestingly enough, the family is still trying to understand why he had it...he was a parapalegic and to the best of their knowledge never did any diving.

Anyway...time to get this thing wet!

Well, now you get to carry it around! JK, it's a great tank, I just like smaller lighter tanks. I think you'll have close to 120 cft with a not-too-bad overfill.
