I just found out that LaCeiba/El Cid Hotel is Coz has dropped their price to $40 per night for September! Check it out on Expedia.com. It's a slow time on the island plus the 9/11 anniversary doesn't help.

Sure wish I could take advantage of it so the next best thing would be if one of you can! Now if they could only do something about the Houston/Coz airfares....

What a great rate. September is a very slow vacation month. I work in the travel industry. For Sept. & Oct. all part-timers are allowed only 5 hours per week;-0 So even though I've got plenty of time on my hands-I've got no money.
