I'm really glad you are on your way to a full recovery and I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions. Obviously, you aren't required to answer any of them, and if you do, feel free to post them here or in a PM/Conversation.
- What was your Gradient factor? I'm running the default one (70/30) and I want to know if I should consider making it a bit more cautious.
- Were there any other factors, other than being dehydrated, that you can think of? Quick ascent, bail out, etc???
- Would you be willing to show us your profile?
- How long do you think you will you be out of diving?
[/putting Tammy on the spot] I can't say it enough, but I really, really hope you heal quickly. You may not realize it, but there was a DCS incident on a rebreather on 3/31/2016 that resulted in the diver's demise. This shouldn't be confused with the heart attack that happened on April 2 that's getting a lot of attention. Few are talking about this. Diving accidents happen and the more we know about them the more we can protect ourselves from the vagaries of pressure. I hope you don't mind me putting you on the spot like this. Feel free to bop me the next time you see me!
