Just stumbled upon something interesting. Apparently U-2 pilots just got an upgrade to their cockpits to decrease the risk of DCS.

A good portion of the research that has been and is continuing to be done on decompression is related to high altitude pilots and astronauts. Lots more interest and money there than in scuba diving.
