Is it possible do get DCS more then a month after a dive? Are there any evdence to that. Im fammilliar with the decompression mechanizm and it does not sound logical but can it happen?

Actually from my experience (I am not a doctor) I don't think that DCS symptoms take a month. It doesn't sound right If you tell me the symptoms that you have I can tell you if this is DCS or not.

There's an old adage in medicine. Never say "never" and never say "impossible".

Nevertheless, I would say that it is not possible for the symptoms of DCI to develop a month after a dive.

It is possible to have ongoing and residual DCI symptoms a month after a dive, and this would indicate significant and possibly irreversible tissue damage.

Well, this should have been asked in another forum, but I'll bet it gets moved to it...

And I'll bet dollars to donuts that our renown Deco Doc will tell you no-way, but who knows...?

There's a doctor in Lubbock, who owns some tiny deco chambers, that diagnosed a young fellow with Deco Illness after riding afast elevator up from the Big Room at Carlsbad Caverns, which may be possible, but - I'm just not aware of possibilities for either of these...? :54:
