Daytripping in Sydney

Hi all

I'll be in Sydney for two weeks towards the end of April. For all sorts of reasons, the Barrier Reef is not an option for this trip so I'd like to do some daytripping in/around Sydney. Does anyone know reputable / good dive stores or charter companies that operate around the Sydney area?

Also, will I be able to buy short-term dive insurance for this period?

Thanks for that. I saw Abyss seem to be advertising free guided dives. Is this legit? What kind of reputation do they have?

Dave,
Abyss are supposed to be pretty good. If you have a couple of days spare consider Jervis Bay or South West Rocks.
