Now we wonder if we should just go back there on our next dive trip as I think that would be the safest place.

Yep, Curacao (and/or Bonaire) for a nice long stay looks pretty good right now. Hopefully we'll be able to return sooner than later...makes you appreciate the warm, friendly waters even more... :)

Bizarrely, dive shops are not seen as crucial and therefore we are closed. However, diving has just been confirmed as an allowed activity by the government so if you have access to tanks then we're allowed to jump in the water between 6am to 9am which is the allocated exercise period. We jumped in a week ago to check the reef and marine life were still there and they were. You're welcome!:acclaim:
