I have been thinking and wondering how many would be willing to take day trips out of the Galveston or Freeport area. Maybe make a dive on the V.A. Fogg or a few rigs. What would everyone consider a price that they would be willing to make few trips during the summer.

I'm game, if its under 200 bucks! I just don't want a strict dive operation with floors and time limits and such, maybe a more tech savvy group, if possible...

I'd be up for it too if the price is right. I'd also like there to not be any strict diving floors, but not into tech. diving.

Count me in with the same sentiments as the others.

How many dives does $185 get ya?

Richard

dive trips from freeport to the fogg normally are two tank dives. we used to leave at around 6am or at daylight and return around 4. The fogg is 30 miles out we used to dive the first dive and then go to a rig for the second dive depending on the vis or current at the fogg. Several boats can be chartered if you have a group. I am unaware of anyone who runs an open dive boat for individuals.
