Yes, there are. In an earlier reply, I explained that there are 3 air dump options on this BC...2 lateral manual pull types and a third with pneumatic (sp?, lol) assist, as well. I imagine that dumping air would not be an issue with this design, anymore than another.

I may be mistaken "Dive4funoften" (again), but I understood that the initial concern was over all the weight being dumped due to failure of the MRS system in this fellow's BC ...or the inability to make a conscious choice to do so, at any rate..hence the discussion on whether it was a faulty BC or a "bad design" in general.
Oh, I apologize for altering the course of the conversation, slightly, in a selfish bid to learn more from "String" about WI BCs in general. ;)

Say you're at 100 feet

I dive a 3mil with no weight in salt water.....with a low tank on safety stops I simply invert and easily fin to do my stop. Couldn't this person do the same with enough training and experience.

Id love to see someone try that 24lbs positive after losing weight pouches (or even 12lbs).

Would make the ascent and stop incredibly hard work assuming superb physical fitness.
