While diving this weekend, I noticed something flashing on my instructor's BC when it caught the light--it turned out to be a DAN Tag. Not sure if this has been posted before, but these seem like a great idea... from the DAN site:

Clipped to your BCD, the DAN Tag informs emergency personnel that you are a DAN Member. It will also let them know who they need to call and what to look for in an emergency, while providing information to help treat most symptoms on the spot from the information provided.
Seems like an inexpensive way ($9.25) to give emergency workers vital information when you may not be able to do so yourself. I hadn't seen them, so I figured I'd post the link. You do need to be a DAN member to purchase them.

Got one, love it. I keep it in the pocket - hate stuff hanging on my BC. When they recover my body, they'll find it when they go through my pockets. If I only knew my bloodtype... please.

They're not real durable - mine cracked like the second or third dive (I think from packing the suit...) but it still works.
