DAN Insurance not accepted at some chambers

No shame to DAN ... they are not the ones who took this public.

Your responce is EXACTLY what Mr. Mauricio had hoped for by posting this stuff on the Internet. By doing what you suggest, you are enabling the unethical behavior of this man to force DAN to his position of charging a higher price for his services.

My suggestion is to make your decisions based on other factors ... in other words, ignore this BS. Allowing yourself to get sucked into this dispute will only encourage others to attempt similar behavior.

I am with you Bob and understand what you are saying. I am not pointing the finger at either organization. I am pointing the finger at BOTH organizations. Maybe Dan is trying to short pay or could be totally withholding payment? Maybe they are not and they are getting raped. Maybe Mr. Mauricio is a greedy ******* and trying to buy a new yacht? Maybe he is not and simply needs to cover costs for a remote operation. I don't know but I do know that as long as he owns the chambers in those locations and they are the only game in town, this will be an issue until its resolved or he is bought out.

What I do know is that IF someone needs it in this location, Divers are the ones that suffer and there is NO choice as to if they need it or not. It does show how immature this market is though.

Work something out short term and then take it to court to decide the final outcome. Don't put divers in the middle which is what has happened. JMHO

From what I understand, from a quick skim through the other thread, it is only a handful of chambers that may be affected. The letter made it sound as if damn near all the chamers in the major resorts are going to stop accepting DAN.

This story was even listed right on top of today's Undercurrent newsletter.

This doesn't hurt DAN, because the truth will come out...eventually. It hurts all of us who are now wasting all our time and energy researching this, because we all freaked out after reading an email that was mostly BS.

I think someone mentioned this immature individual is located in Mexico. I'm heading down to Playa next month. I may have a size XL Jet Fin with his name written all over it.
