You may be confused. DAN sells dive accident insurance and it sells dive travel insurance.
You definitely want the accident insurance, and the enhanced membership and most expensive accident policy also has some coverage for travel. You may or may not want travel insurance also, from DAN or elsewhere.

ok im doing tubba reef for 6 nights and you might know its 7 hours by boat to the middle of no where to get their. that far out a helicopter wouldn't be able to help and would need the air force to evacuate. so I need reliable insurance. so what you recommend is getting dan membership and accident insurance...........ok I got it I'm American and I assume it will be good in phillipines. note, the dive boat makes insurance mandatory

Great questions. The short answer is yes you should be covered. But (like we all should) please read and review the policy to understand the insurance option tiers and be sure
