I'm a Fish!
Is anyone planning on heading up to Portage for this? I know its the same day as the Gilboa ton o fun record attempt, but I dont wanna pay that entry fee for Gilboa.

We dove portage yesterday/Saturday. They were getting everything set up including laying out all the golf balls. There were a group of Scouts out there who really wanted to collect those balls. It was amusing.

We had fantastic fish encounters on every dive. The blue gills were out in mass.

Bus, what part of the quarry had the blue gills? :)

I'm looking to dive Portage next weekend!

There are numerous entry points to Portage. We were using the area where all the divers go in (you will know what I mean when you get there and see them gearing up). This is also by the "Rock." When you drop down they are in the direction of the silo. The fish were a blast this time.

If you get way to the semi trailer there were some nice trout and carp.

I dove Portage years ago! I know the spot!

I plan on entering at the point in the corner of the quarry, and then swim the wall down to the silo. Looking forward to seeing da-fish!
