I am going to be in the Dallas Area for the weekend and I am looking for a dive spot and people to go with. Any suggestions?

The simplest solution for you will be Clear Springs Scuba Park. It's located about 30 minutes east of Dallas just on the other side of Terrell. It's a 23 acre scuba park, meaning that the only thing you can do there is dive. No fishing, no boats, no swimmers, just us divers. Right now the surface temp is about 90F dropping to I believe the upper 50s on the 60' bottom. There are normally a couple of Swampers out there on the weekend so you should be able to find a buddy.
