I made a video of some of my favorite underwater footage from my time spent as video pro on Nai'a in Fiji and Tonga in 2008.

The footage was shot with my Sony HVR-Z1P HDV camera in a Light & Motion Bluefin HD housing. I used the wide 80 degree port for most of it, and L&M Sunray Elite lights for the night dives and some of the macro.

The footage was shot in 1080-60i HDV converted to 720p for YouTube using my Sony Vegas > AviSynth > Megui/x264 method. Unfortunately YouTube's encoder doesn't do well with swaying schools of fish etc. so the quality is lost.

Dive site names and species names can be turned on and off using the CC button at the bottom of the video.

I'm interested in feedback, so please let me know what you think. If you enjoy it, please "like" or share it, and subscribe to my channel for future videos. Thanks!

(p.s. please let me know if there is a way to embed YouTube videos in HD on ScubaBoard)

Really nice, congrats! I especially liked the vivid colors and exciting macro shots, but sometimes I'd like to see more of specific scenes, for example the whales, etc.

Wow, incredible video. I mean, the colors are so bright and vivid.. it looks super professional. Well done, man.
