I have been to Dahab recently, diving with PlanetDivers. I can't complain but if you want to do some extra trips - like to Gabr el Bint, Ras Abu Galloum, Ras Mamlach - forget it. They need at least 6-9 divers to sign up for them in order to go there. Despite the diving center was full (since there was no locker keys...) they had trouble to organise these trips during my 10day stay in Dahab. A dive center next to PlanetDivers had a brochure saying "daily boat diving on Gabr El Bint"...
It is not an expensive dive center, but still in Dahab you can dive for much less (10 dives for 150$ is not a problem in other dive centers which has less clients - just bargain). I dove before with Desert Divers and can highly recommend them - they were able to organise whatever I wanted...
