I've had my Sportster now for many years. In February it indicated that the battery needed to be changed. I changed it but it started acting like it was shorting out and all the numbers were flashing and depth wasn't accurate. I rechecked it and the battery chamber was dry. I would like to know if anyone knows of someone who still repairs these watches after so many years?

It sounds like dirty contacts or a weak battery.
You might simply try having the battery changed by a professional.
