I just downloaded 6 dives into the PC and found several with a "Rgbm Warning" all at the start of the dive around 4.5 feet. I did not notice it during the dives. Does anyone know hat this means? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a problem? Everything else went fine and I love the D9.

The 'warning' is actualy a "End of Event" marker. You can safely ignore it. If I recall correctly it's a result of factors from the prievous dive group.

How fast was your descent? I see odd warnings on some of my descents and after some research found out that it has to do with the descent rate. I do not know much more than that. It only shows up on the log - nothing while diving.

Hi Thanks for the replies,

The warning only appears at the start of the second dive.

just come back from key west on the Vandenburg Wreck!!

Both days i was there the second dive showed this warning but only on the graph on the PC software. No indication was shown during any of the dives.

The Warning Shows At 4ft on the second dive (Day 1) down to 25ft in 1.48s and 5ft on the second dive (Day 2) down to 80ft in 6.08s.

neither of the dives are fast decents i have done much quicker..

should i just ignore this or investigate further?

thanks

Graham

It stands for "reduced gradient bubble model" and it's just a warning. Did you have a short surface interval?

This indicates you did not complete the recommended surface interval (SI)!!

After your first dive (if long or deep enough) you will get a divers alert notification (small triangle with !) in the top right corner. This alert informs the diver that he/she should extend their SI. If you do a repetitive dive before this icon disappears (before SI elapsed) the DC will log a RGBM warning in your profile.

I would pay attention to this especially if the next dive is also going to be long or deep.
