I'm a Fish!
So had a few of these made this week ones for steel cylinders and ones for S80 cylinders. So much better than the noodles and rope, especially in the back of a truck. Secure the racks and use bungee to secure the cylinders to the rack OR just ratchet the lot down. Thought Id share as Im annoyed its taken me so long to do this lol

Nice! I'd like to make a few like this eventually. I deal with the noodles and rope for now, but these look like a much better solution.

Yeah so far they have been great will get a photo of them tied down and being used this week if the weather eases up

Very nice. For a minute I thought the sides were bronze! Did you use Maine plywood or solid wood for the sides?

Marine ply and still going to fully paint them for further water proofing

This is just some scrap 2x4 and 2x6 and wood screws. Painted in left over floor enamel paint. Sized to hold steel 100s and AL80s. Have nothing invested in it. Put the paint on super thick, had to leave it outside for a week to fully dry. Tools used were a circular saw and a drill to drive the screws. Even used the saw to notch a place for the tank boots if present. This could have been made with a hand saw and a screwdriver if that was all that was available.
Plans? None. Just made it to fit.

Nice. Thanks for sharing.

I have something like this made many years ago. I'm looking for ideas on how to secure the rack and tanks on the floor of an SUV cargo area. Right now I just stuff gear, etc. around them. However, if I go to get fills on a non-diving day, for example, they slide around.

How are you planning to secure yours?

So my Nissan x-terra had two channels that anchor points could be fastened to to hold things down. But in my truck I just strap down the racks as so.

But if I have cylinders double stacked I can just tie them all down from the Ford box link tie points no issues. Doing a full desert dune test on Friday but have little concern as they survived a full acceleration test from standing still and some heavy turning last night.
