Searched and searched cant seem to find any info on this cylinder.

tank marking- DOT-3AL 3000 Ck2087
Catalina Cliffdiv
the outer diameter is 3.21" and just under 13.5" in length (from bottom of the tank to the top of the valve threads)

I think the CK2087 is the Catalina model number but they have no information on CK cylinders on their website.

hope some one can help.

thanks,
Shermen

It's a small pony bottle. Go to Catalina's web site and compare its dimensions to their list. From the pic, it looks to be a 6 cu. ft.

I thought I would be a 6cf but by the specs it is longer than a 6, it is slightly longer than a 13cf cylinder. I sent catalina yesterday.

Judging by the sticker on the bottom of it, it has (or had) ARGON in it.
6cf would sound right for an Argon bottle. you don't need a big one.

So it was likely used by a drysuit diver to fill his suit.

Don't hook a reg to this and breathe off it. Take it and empty it out, take the valve off, blow air through it. Or even have it cleaned by your LDS.

breathing Argon isn't good for you.

Just got an email back form Catalina Cylinders, Cliff Impact Division. The tank is 8cf.
