I'm a Fish!
We fly out in less than 24 hours for our first ever Coz trip. It takes us two days to get there, but are sure that it will be worth it!

As we finish our packing (OK, OK start :eyebrow:) we need to know what essentials...

Water temps (in C if possible) are expected over the next couple of weeks...

Air/land temps...how heavy of a layer will we need for evenings, early mornings, between dives etc

Are there any major storms predicted for the weekend?

Thanks!

Water temps = 27 - 28 C
Air temps = 34 - 35 C (feels like 40) 1000% humidity, just kidding, humidity is very high though

Day and night temps are really close...it doesn't cool off much at night in the summer

Bring very lightweight clothing, sleeveless, airy cotton, etc.

No major storms reported coming our way other than the typical tropical afternoon showers...of course that could change...the weather is unpredictable

Most important...HAVE FUN and have a safe trip down!

Alcina, we came back from diving the 18th-21st on Tuesday. Weather is HOT (other posts are bang on), I wore cotton tiki shirts & shorts.

Water temps are warm. 28C-ish. On the 21st the current was RIPPING fast, there are some ups 'n' downs with them on the walls, i.e., in the gullies between outcroppings, watch it when coming out of swimthroughs, etc. The divemasters said the currents have been squirrelly lately, they are backwards in some places (east to west). Have a good time!
