The stuff Ive seen is in north central Montana near the border, not really oil and gas country.helium is never found alone, its a trace component of natural gas deposits. its often not profitable to separate it out and its lost to the atmosphere
There have been various "new source" reports for a long time now, at least 10 yrs. Hard to know which ones even pan out but for sure demand continues to outpace supply
