Kids, "Dad, can we get some fish?"
Dad, "If you promise to take care of them."

How long do you think it lasted? :rofl3:

Let me think.

My place: fish, birds, cats, puppies, snakes, and at their Mom's chickens, horses, cats, puppies, fish......

My guess is less than one month?

Well, I keep fish but not in a tank. I have an 1800 gal. pond right off of the deck with 30+ assorted goldfish in it. It's going on 9 years since I dug that hole in the ground.
Steve

Sorry about that Steve, I wasn't thinking. I've added "pond" to the choices. :kiss2:

Hockey Nut, you having any kind of pets just scares me! :D

I have several tanks myself, all saltwater.

60g sps dominated reef
55g seahorse with soft corals, sponges, and seahorse-friendly fish
25g lps dominated reef with a frogfish
6g scorpion leaffish tank

Just curious who keeps a fish tank?

Sometimes, I think it helps my sanity! So tell me about yours...
My pet fish is bigger than yours :D

When I was 13 I had a pet beta fish. It lasted a total of 4 days. Turns out it's a good idea to change their water. I now prefer to see fish with a much better keeper: Mother Nature

That's good to know. Been thinking about getting a tank for a few years now. Have done a lot of research, just dont have the time to maintain one right now.
