Hi,

I'm spending a week in Curacao next february. While browsing the internet for everything that the island has to offer i was attracted about this minicruise. http://www.zeelandiacruises.com/en

I was thinking that maybe we'd take first four days aboard the Zeelandia to dive, dive, eat, drink and dive.

I'm going with my lady and we're both competent divers with our own gear.

Has anybody been to this boat or heard how they work. I find it strange that there were almost no reviews or experiences to be found. I would like to hear some opinions to be sure that i get what i want before making final decisions.

First, I've never been on the boat...

It appears the 4 day is just a combination of both 2 day trips. Everywhere they go on the 2 day "Curacao coast" trip is also shore accessible - all they're doing is sailing up the coast to Westpunt. We drove from Piscadera Bay to Westpunt in about 45mins. one day.

Most of the sites they mention are also shore dives on Curacao - or dove by other operators on morning 2-tank dives. Except the Blue Room which is a snorkel. Any dive operator who dives Mushroom Forest nearby goes to the Blue Room to snorkel during your surface interval.

There's also other options out to Klein Curacao. It's only 5 miles away from the south end of Curacao so some operators go out there on all day trips. OE does both: The best Curacao dive sites | Ocean Encounters Diving Curacao
Atlantis also goes out there from the Willemstad area: Atlantis Diving Curacao ? Dive trips to Klein Curacao

Being on a ship that old might be fun. You'd likely be the only ones night diving at Klein since it's deserted once the day boats/cruise trips leave - if that's an option.

I like the idea of lazy slow cruising and diving a lot. The other operators you mentioned seem more scheduled. However i tried to contact Zeelandia through facebook and email with queations of their schedule next february but unluckily with no answer whatsoever.

The zeelandia isn't operating anymore since last October.......

Sad indeed :) and as far has i know there is nothing similar on the island......
