If you are looking for independent shore diving information, check out:
Scuba Shore Diving Site Listing for: Curacao, ABC Islands (ShoreDiving.com) which gives you over 30 different sites to explore. Most of the other dive tours/sites have already been mentioned, but unless you are experienced, you might not want to do the shore diving on your own. There are many DM around to help you out and offer their services.
With average water temps at 80F/26C you will find that 3mm-5mm full wet suits should be sufficient in most of your dives. Nitrox courses and Night Diving are available at various dive centers.
Make sure you rent a car to get around on the island.
Centrum Market is only 10 minutes away where you can stock up on all your favorite groceries and cook up some awesome meals.
