I just don't log dives
We will be staying near Spanish Water, so preferably someone can recommend a dive op on this part of the island. We're interested in diving for just one day during our stay. We're moving on to Bonaire after Curacao to dive for a full week, but we'd like to see what Curacao diving is like.

We highly loved the dive operation at habitat curacao

I dearly love the Dive Bus..They come right to your door and pick you up!!!

How long will you be in Curacao? Will you have a car? If you are only going to dive one day, you might want to consider a day trip to the west tip of the island where IMO the best diving in Curacao is. Ocean Encounters West is next to Kura Hulanda lodge. It's a long drive but you will get to see a lot of the island. A car is in general a good thing for exploring Curacao. (Shame to dive only one day, personally I prefer Curacao diving to Bonaire.)

We'll have a car and are staying on the east end of the island for reasons other than diving, but we were hoping that we could get in a day of diving without traveling too far.

Dive Bus sounds unique!

I love Mark and Suzy at the Dive Bus! They will show you a great dive. But if you are only going to do ONE dive while you are on Curacao, you might want to consider contacting Neils at Dive Charter Curacao Curacao Scuba Diving - Dive Charter Curacao the best boat dive adventure in the Caribbean. and make your one dive at Eastpoint. He leaves from Spanish Waters. Ocean Encounters at Lions Dive also goes to that site along with Klein Curacao.
Even if you do not go to dive, I'd strongly recommend renting a car to tour the west end beaches and National parks.

I agree with Sunshine. Dive Charter Curacao are a smaller outfit geared towards the little more adventurous diver. Their boat fits a max of about six people, and you will have to be willing to get wet. Niels Jorissen and his dive guide, Kevin, will make sure you see the best areas.

We have had a few divers stay at Flamingo Villa who used Dive Charter Curacao and they all have been extremely happy with their service and expertise. They have O2 on board, supply weights & lunch. You'll be doing plenty of shore diving in Bonaire. For one day of diving in Curacao, you can't go wrong with this boat operator.

Hi Lorenzoid :)

Dive Charter Curacao is a lot of fun - we just did a trip with the guys last week! - but of course we'd love to take you shore diving instead.

If you've not done much shore diving previously, we'll be able to give you lots of tips and short cuts, as well as a good overview on shore diving both here and in Bonaire (which we've dived many times too).

Drop me an email (doris@the-dive-bus.com) or PM me if you have any questions or need any info.

All best and happy planning :)
Suzy
