abyss and train bridge are in the Connecticut river just a few miles south of the Vermont/New Hampshire border.

Also I want to let you guys know I cleaned up the latern last night. There is a connection from the vat to the lantern part thru that arm. Also the lantern comes apart in places. I unscrewed the bottom and it was full of sand most likely to absorb oil if the solder fails. I'll post pictures soon.
