When I do Stonington this time of year, it is usually at night and entry by way of the beach. The Lifeguards on the beach usually won't let you do that during the day. I've seen people enter during the day going over the rocks from the parking lot but I've never entered that way. (Looks a little rough on the ankles)

Last year they set up the beach one night as a movie theater and played the first Star Wars movie. Instead watching a movie at a Drive in we were at the Dive in. They were charging admission into the beach area to watch the movie, but they let us use the beach to enter the water without any problem.

The local Police do enforce the hours of the parking area. I think 11PM is the official closed time.

can't do sunday after all.....sorry for the false alarm
