CT lobster license

downloaded the application from DEP's site but before mailing to office in Hartford, was wondering how long it would take and if there's a faster way of getting the license ...if i drove to that office will i get it faster...right then and there? or is there somewhere else i can get the license quicker from?

Also, when is the season over? is stonington the only spot or best spot? between what hours can i go bug hunting?

If you drive down there they'll give it to you then and there.
