I didn't think it would take that long to run it, but I guess it might.

Sinking it took much longer than expected. The anchors were probably a lot heavier than I needed, but I didn't want anyone moving them either. I'd be conderned about using cable to hold the gates as they aren't very bouyant and the cable may drag them down.

is like 3/32 or 1/8 at most, nice and lightweight but extreemly strong and durable. I reckon 40 ft. of it wouldn't weigh much over a pound or two, and I was thinkin' of using some 3-5 gallon paint buckets with concrete and rebar loops for attachement points.

BTW the second suspended platform is on the way to be "launched", Doug,Dee, Homey and I spotted the location yesterday in what proved to be some nice diving. The viz was really good even at 35-40'.
