Is there anyone with recent dive experiences at Crystal Cove?

I understand that there is an underwater park there. We will be staying at the cabins or huts or whatever they are for a night and thought we could kind of walk out our door and onto the beach and into the water, but we are unfamiliar with the layout for now.

I had read that Reef Point and Crystal Cove are good or iffy beach dives but not read any recent reports.

Thanks for any help.

Phil

I have dove crystal cove at reef point several times. I happen to like the area and the diving there. I have never camped and dove there though, so I can't comment on the proximity to the beach. There is a bit of a hike from the parking lot at reef point, but I think that it is worth it.

Dive at high tide for an easier entry if you can. It can be quite rocky at low tide. There is a sunken Corsair out past the reef if you can find it. It is listed on the Franko's map for the park.

Have fun!
