Two Princess cruise ship divers got left in Bonaire last week by their dive boat. My daughter was on the boat that saw the divers giving the distressed diver signal and picked them up. Does anybody know what the story is?

you might want to post this over on the Bonaire Forum. Chances are you will get some answers there.

Wow, I heard nothing of this. Let me see what I can find out.

I will post something on Bonaire Talk and let you know.

No feedback yet from BonaireTalk.

Hummmm, why do I suspect there is more to this story.

If I am going to be left somewhere I want it to be Bonaire! No currents, typically calm seas and dive sites within a 100 yards of the beach.

I was "forgotten" once off West Palm Beach, FL and I thought I was lucky cause I was close enough to see land and started kicking... only about 10 minutes though as the boat realized they were missing a diver and came back for me.

The latest bit off BonaireTalk is that it may not have happened. No one on the threads including those on the island currently have heard a thing. The only question was about who the dive op was that "left" the divers and who was the dive op that picked them up.

But so far the locals on the island are clueless and there are no stories circulating on Bonaire.
