Yes. Uber was even on base when I left.
thats good to hear because I wound not return to KW unless there was a solution to the parking problem. I really hate the private meter situation in KW. It says nothing more than they feel a right to target every tourist for their share. Yea their local taxes are probably high etc but thats how the trickle down eco, has to work in an area of limited real estate whose lifeline industry is tourism.

You do know that there is free parking in KW, you just have to know where they are..........

Ridiculous.............., a town that survives on tourism, banning tourists...........

I guess next...., they'll stop their daily TV ads, in Tampa, asking people to come down and visit Key West.

Maybe they could resurrect that check point at mm112, but still let the busses through..............

Yes I found it and used it when I could. The issue is like you say ,,, you just have to know where it is. One can spend most the day looking for parking when you should be touring (aka spending money). I thought I understood why people park in their yards until I learned about how the parking meters worked.
