Cruise ship dive trip 3rd week in roatan

Not Roatan specific but did a dive on a cruise in St. Thomas. Turned out that because the cruise ships were in town there were a lot of divers and the dive boats ran out of regs. I was carrying my mask and regs with me, which I do most of the time, and I got to dive. A number of folks with paid reservations did not.

Not only is it not Roatan specific, it has nothing at all to do with Roatan, not once, never, nada, zero, zilch have I or anyone I know heard of a shop not able to produce a regulator for a paying customer
