If I recall, Cabo does not have a cruise ship pier (yet). Try to get on an early tender from the cruise ship to the marina, so you're not stressed out about getting to the shop (if you're arranging the trip separately from the cruise line).
That's right. No pier. But it's only a short tender ride in Cabo.
 
You definiately need to check out PV Scuba with Alex. I just came back from a good dive at Majahuitas and saw some eels and some turtles under there. Good vis despite the cloudy conditions today.

The Manta is an excellent dive boat with Captain Moises (Moi) at the helm. One thing that I will say that's excellent about PV is that they depart right from the marina and offer steel tanks.

You need to also ask about Isla Marietas. Those are fantastic...dove there 2 years ago with PV Scuba and still have fond memories of that dive.
