Does this happen to anyone else? I have these dreams..thankfully not too often...like it's low tide coming high, perfect conditions for my favorite dive site, and I can't find my reg....or my wetsuit. I can't dive. I dream that there are perfect 6 foot waves peeling right in front of me...and I can't find my shorts...or my board...And when I finally do, and paddled out...I look down and I'm in a swimming pool. My Mom has the same dream about trying to golf and can't get a tee in the ground or can't find her clubs. Why does the unconscious mind torture one's self? I have never surfed or dived in a dream. Hank

I used to have a very similar troubling one which was recurring- it was the last 4 mins of life (back in those nuclear fear days) and I had all these activities to do and friends to be with, but I couldn;t decide what to do- so I spent the last four minutes of my life not doing anythign cos I couldn;t pick.

I have this recurring dream that I am stuck in the office and not appreciated by my boss and underpaid.....

I have alot of horrible dreams that wake me up all the time. Once dive season ends, I usually dream about diving deep and having my regs pulled out of my mouth and not being about to find them. I have also dreampt about being attached by sharks. I have seen myself fall off cliffs and dying and have seen myself in my coffin at my funeral. It is very very stange.

woah.... I haven't had many HORRIBLE dreams, but there were some. Like the one where one of my best friends got shot in a drive by, my parents got blown up in a suicide bombing, and I was in a plane crash over honolulu.... but none of them recurr at all..
