Me, john Heitz and Dennes Villalva picked up 180 giant CoT's in the Tuka Marine Park last Saturday, next Thursday we will go with the Sarangani Organized event to collect in Barrio Lago! The Lgu divers had a dive a few days ago to see if there were any to be had! The said that there are plenty but did not collect a single one, such a shame as they now have another few days to eat more coral!
Kill them all!!!!!

We now have a second cot gun. If you can get sodium bisulfate, then happy to lend it to you. With the gun we gave to you already, you and John can then kill hundreds in a short period of time - i.e. do short dives between refilling (30mins or so) and kill a couple hundred each per dive.

You can kill a few thousands in a day like this without taking one out from the sea.

I will order more compressor oil in the next week or two and get sodium Bi-sulphate at the same time as I have found a source in Manila and like oil it has to be sea freight!
Then I will kill them all! Kill, Kill!

Humm guys... Not trying to restart the whole COT war thing here... but you do realise by not removing the dead COTs you are leaving behind toxic leftovers for the other reef creature to munch on and basically affecting lots of other organisms that are part of the reef system?

The MSDS sheet for this stuff reports a toxic effect on Daphnia (for those who don't know, these are small zooplancton) at concentrations as low as 190 ppm. Knowing how sensitive many reef organisms are, the sodium bisulfate could be having an effect.

Once again, I'm not trying to start a heated discussion. But it would surely be better for the reef if after killing the COTs with this product you removed them entirely. Although I know that would slow down your progress considerably...
