DCDivenut:Just got back from the ultrasound---I'm having a boy!!! Sorry could not resist
All results were negative so there are no lumps, fluid or any twisting (hurts just saying it) of the blood or other vessels. The best guess is that I did bruise or somehow compress "the boys" and the only thing I can think of that did that is the crotch strap.
Oh.. and as for the nickname that is WAY to unfortunate a coincidence.
Well, groin pulls cover a wide range of possible injuries, including adductor strains, osteitis pubis, sports hernias, etc (unfortunately, I know this from experience, not medical training). Also, a "groin pull" could be caused by the equipment as well, especially a strap through the groin. At a minimum, the strap could cause compression of the ilioinguinal nerve, which is also classified as a type of groin injury.cyklon_300:Groin pull, not an equip issue.
