does zeagle have a crotch strap for the Escape BCD?

i e-mailed them about 9 days ago and still no reply. Right now i'm working from about 5am-6:30pm and can't call them durring the day to check.

anyone know if they make them or a easy way that i can add this to my BCD. The BC tends to ride up a little durring the dive causing the tank valve to hit my head if i look up.

I bought a Dive Rite crotch strap for my Ranger and it works fine. :palmtree: Bob

I bought a crotch strap from Zeagle for my Ranger and it was easy to hook up. Maybe the same one will work on the Escape.
:bounce:

I have the Escape also, but if I remember correctly a crotch strap will not fit onto an escape, which is kind of stupid if you ask me. I can no longer find it on their website since they changed it around, but I'm pretty sure they said that a crotch strap wouldn't fit. Let us know what you find out.

Make one. Buy one from DR and retro fit

The official Zeagle one will not fit on the escape. It uses a little piece that is attached to the back of the ranger that is not present on the Escape. I'm not sure how you would attach any crotch strap to the back of the Escape, I can't see anything that could be modified to work...

If you don't mind voiding the warranty (maybe it will, maybe it won't), you could always get someone to attach the missing piece to the back edge of the Escape and then just get the Zeagle crotch strap...

IMO, that seems like it would be the easiest thing to do...

I have a Scout and it would be trivial to sew a strap or a mount point for a strap onto the pack of the BC.

Attachment at the front is just like the DIR setup, a loop over
the waist strap.

What about putting it through part of the lower tank band? You could make a "Y" out of webbing with two loops at the ends of the "y" to go around where the band is secured..

My Idea.

Here is a sketch of what I was talking about for the back, still thinking about the front...
[if I can get the stupid picture in here...]
