Been a member since last year, but totally ignored the welcome message each time - thought it time I said hello.

I'm from Jersey Marine in Wales, here is a map link in case you have no idea where Wales is.

Did my original dive training with BSAC back in early 70's, initially learning with a twin hose reg, amusing to see kit I used on show as museum pieces in dive shops !

Then laid off diving until restarting a few years back with my son ... then aged 14 ... we went through PADI schemes together.

Dive occasionally in UK, but majority in warmer waters - in past 12 months been to Egypt (twice), Turkey, Greece & Canary Islands.
Looking at Mexico for April time frame, although as deals to Egypt work out 60% cheaper (and 1/2 the flight time) may go to Egypt again.

I seem to be against the trend .. everyone I know has quickly moved on to become PADI Dive Master, and I have no intention of doing this, my limited time diving is for enjoyment, don't want to teach.

Hello to all.

a welcome to ScubaBoard and thanks for finally posting to the group!!
