Crinoid

Here is a nice little crinoid, Leica 45, with MFO. Crinoids face perpendicular to the current to feed (not how I would do it but I guess if I were a crinoid I would starve). Scientists in Antartica use the orientation of the crinoids to map the near bottom currents (Eleaume et al, Deep Sea Research II, 2010, p163). My Crinoid was sitting happily on a barrel sponge. We do too, but haven't seen many here in Triton this trip. I particularly like the Myzostomid worms. Your pics are great.

It is indeed. We are on the Wellenreng, started in Raja, now in Triton Bay. The trip report will be about the MFO, the Kraken krl90 wetlens and the weefine ring light 3000.
