Cressi Sub Aqualight BCD

Anyone have one of these? I understand they are a 60 yr old company from Italy.
Scuba Toys has these for $210.00. Seens very cheap but looks good.

I was shopping around for a travel BC and tried out the Aqualite along with a Sherwood Magnum and a Zeagle Escape. Although not a bad BCD with good features, lightweight, and a good price, the Aqualite was my least favorite of the group. It was bulkier and not so comfortable to wear, especially when inflated.

I ended up going with the Magnum at the time and put about 100 dives on it and am pleased with it. I have been using the Escape for the past year and really like it, very comfortable, my favorite of the bunch.

If return policy allows, I would recommend ordering 2 or 3 BCDs to try on at home and pick the one that best suits you. Fit and comfort can vary from one person to the next, and doing a hands on comparison might reveal differences you might not become aware of trying on just one BCD.

I have the Aquapro 5 which is almost the same thing(minus a tank band), i've done about 17 dives with it..

It's a pretty good jacket BC has served me well, 3 dump valves, integrated weights are a nice touch, inflator works well. Seems fairly durable so far, although I did pull out the strings for one of the dump valves the other day. But that was due to overzealous pulling and not some manufacturer defect .

For me one of the most important features of a BC is maintaing and attaining neutral buoyancy, and I have no prob. doing this using my BC .
So I think the aqualight should serve u well.

I called ScybaToys about the Aquaflight couple weeks ago. My size wasn't listed. the guy I talked to said they were no longer going to carry it. I was interested in this BC too. I'm also looking at a Genesis "Tropic" for a travel BC.

I got 1 aquapro (old mine, 10 yrs old), 1 aquapro 3 (my girlfriend, 8 yrs old), 1 aquapro 5 (my daughters, 7 yrs old), all have more than 100 dives each (mine more than 400).

All have performed for yrs without any troubles at all, since I've seen some iterations of the same product, I've seen the improovements over the yrs.

These BCs are very tough and resist a beating as long as you clean it after every dive trip.

The oldest one the Aquapro had poor D-ring placement, but that improoved with later models and upgraded to SS 1 1/2" D-rings and weight integration.

These BCs will last for yrs if properly maintain 'cause the materials are top quality.

I switched for a BP so now my Aquapro is resting in the closet, but it's ready to go out anytime cause it's in perfect condition, faded, but in excellent working order.

I don't know the model you specified, but I can vouch for cressi's reliability and top notch materials.

A friend of mine has one as a travel BCD. We both have the Cressi S111R. He loves it and I am considering buying one for travel. $210 hemm must be in limited sizes. In fact I looked and they are only small and large I need a large so I am buying one. Thanks.

was going to get one, they are a reputtable company but when i tried em on they did feel a little bulky and will give you just as much streamlining as buck rogers
