OK my first mistake this morning was telling my wife I would be right back, what I needed to do would just take an hour or two... ROFL LMAO... First it was straight clay, then a wire armature and finally a wood plug... Here is the plug, and process photos are in the usual place on my FB page. This will be for the left and right forearm fin.

I forgot to snap the last photo before putting the plug in the mold... The final piece was cleaned up with a bit more detail.

From left to right:

1. First pull on fin mold, playing around with multiple colors
2. Back sculpt, gonna need a lot of clay to get this to size...
3. Armature for the left creature hand, my own out of plaster.

So I was thinking, what if I make this thing glow in the dark? I think that would be cool for a cave photo shoot What do you think?

Use phosphorescent paint with a UV light. GITD probably won't be bright enough.
