Thalassamania:With all due respect, you do not understand the process, I will try over the next few days to put together something reasonable succinct to help you to understand it. If you walk way from that with Collins' view of a prime mover who set it all in motion billions and billions of years ago, that fine with me, there is no data to prove or disprove that ... that is truly a matter of faith.
Green_Manelishi:That must be why gravity was downgraded from law to theory. If it remained law it would present an obstacle to the theory of evolution. After all, gravity could fail (thus falsifying the theory) just as marble statues could wave their hands thus validating the theory.
Soggy:Clearly, you are:
Soggy:Nice try, chief.
The Law of Gravity is the effect. Apples fall from trees.
The Theory of Gravity explains the phenomenon.
Midnight Star:What i've written isn't entirely unsubstantiated, not as your thinking - as has already been covered before. So it is indeed a valid theory ... simple in it's form, and perhaps it's understanding, metaphysical only in the involvement of an unknown (inferring God). It would be interesting to see things play out as time progresses.![]()
Let’s try and get on common ground:Midnight Star:Actually, it's just another theory.

The Theory of Gravity explains the phenomenon.

Midnight Star:Isnt gravity a sub-set of electromagnitism?
And diving with otters would be fun!
