After reading through some of the pages of blah, blah, blah in this thread my feelings are still the same. When you die you go into a hole in the ground where all sorts of creatures enjoy your presence, you will smell and decay...Best part you will never know or care.

Just some of the pages? Your post was #1950 and the interesting item about this thread is that it has remained quite civil throughout. Soo many things to learn on this thread as many posters actually work in the fields their talking about.

I do have a question for you though. How sure are you when you said you'll never know or care?

Of coccyx matters! :D (Read fast or you miss the pun). While I fully understand the Coccygeal Vertebrae I, the Coccygeal Vertebra II-V leave us all pondering. Some are fused while some are fully articulated. The muscles attached are for WHAT? Vestigial muscles that once, a prehensile epoch ago, used to wag a much longer appendage. Why does this upset some?

Here is an interesting (but not missing) link: http://www.coccyx.org/whatisit/normal.htm

It's early in the morning and I missed it till I read it four or five times. Good one!

speak for yourself... when i die, i am going to the Land of Endless Scuba, where it's always either dawn or sunset (except when you want it to be night -- for a night dive), where they have free trimix and nitrox, all the latest equipment, caves that go on for ever, reefs that teem with life, and where PADI is NOT the way the world learns how to dive

;)

SANDJEEP, I agree with you, this has been an incredibly civil thread throughout. For this subject that's kind of unbelievable, always seems like this topic can bring out the best in people. Anyways to answer your question I guess I really don't know, just as with all questions involving whomever you choose to call God it all goes back to faith. I choose to believe that after death that's it, although I have always tried to live my life in such a way that (IF) looked back upon, the big man would be happy with what I have done. Sorry if my post came off a little strong, reading back over it it does sound mean...sorry

I saw this AM. However, having a hard time finding an actual picture of the fossil itself or dig site instead of a plaster cast or drawn spec picture.

Well...we'll leave aside for the minute the fact that we're expected to believe the Bible as truth based on a lot less than you are asking for now!:D

if I found you a real picture...or told you where you could go to view the actual fossil...

Would it change your opinion about evolution?

No, it would not change my position. However, dead fish are interesting like ceolacanth, wait a minute,,,:D

I thought not.......

Not much point then, is there? (Harry Nilsson said it all really...! :eyebrow: )
