NetDoc:You know... the really sad part? Man loves rules... God loves the heart. The Bible clearly states that whatever you did to the least of these my brothers, you did also to me. God doesn't really care about your denomination or what version of the scriptures you read. He wants you to love his people: all of them!
Jesus was quite clear that there are but two rules to live by: Love God and Love Everyone Else. All this talk of damnation just doesn't sound like love to me. Jesus only seemed to condemn those who wanted to condemn others. Hmmnnnnn, something to ponder in that. Those who want to be with God will be. Those who don't, won't. Me? Loving others is good but Jesus said a good deal more than that. John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Matthew 10:32, 37 "Therefore, whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but the sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a mans enemies will be those of his own household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
John 3:16, 18 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Saved from what? A gospel that leaves out damnation may be very appealing but eliminates the need for the cross.

people say it is rediculous to think that life could start from "slime". the god camp says that it is impossible for life, as complex as it is now, to have started without someone creating it.
ok, then who created the creator? how could such a being, with all that power exist, without someone or something creating him?

Wow, It took 2 days but I finally read every single post. I have enjoyed reading many of them as they were quite interesting.
