Awesome photos. It's strange for me to look through your photos and not see any nudibranchs. :-)
Thanks for the report and photos.

I hear you about the pace of the dives . . . we were lucky on our trip, because there were five of us, and we had a boat to ourselves all but one day. The one day that we had another diver, the DM tried to set a ridiculous pace for a group of photographers, and we basically ended up letting him go. I can't imagine you guys, with your fondness for small things, having to blast along a reef and being happy about it!

Your last photo made me laugh. Something about Cozumel must bring out the cowboy in folks . . .

Great pix and fantastic viz. That seems like a really nice camera system too. thnx for posting

Very nice. I particularly enjoyed the shots of the Queen Angelfish (since I know getting good, solid side-profiles like that can be hard; I haven't done it well yet) the Nurse Shark (just a good shot), the Sand Diver (funny seeing one so close) and one of the best Scrawled Filefish shots I've seen (really distinctive shot).

Richard.

Hey Phil, glad you guys are back home safe. Too bad to hear about the pace of the dives. I learned about the pace of tropical diving in Hawaii this summer. It was a bummer to have to be led around by a DM, and even more of a bummer constantly dodging the flailing arms and split-fins of warm-water vacation divers. I nearly had my regs knocked out of my mouth several times.

That octopus shot is really cool. What a cool snowy looking color/texture he had. My favorite macro shot by far was the Squat Anemone shrimp in the giant anemone, awesome picture.

Wowzers Phil! Incredible trip! I think I need to rescind my policy on no traveling to Mexico ;) So many great shots. Love the Ocean Surgeonfish with cleaner. Excellent pose. The fireworm captures are ridiculous man. Insanely crisp, great texture. The star eye hermit closeup is stunning as well. You really outdid yourself. Will Merry be making a post?

I was thinking the same thing.
