February is part of eagle ray season in Cozumel. Those that have been during this time, are there tons of eagle rays or are they elusive maybe you’ll see maybe you won’t? How is diving in Cozumel in Feb.

You may not see them on every dive but I'm sure you'll see them a few times during the week. They are often in groups.

There can be alot and they tend to be in groups. Feb is usually good but the season could be early or late. Hard to tell. Feb should be good though. Water will be colder and Nortes may come in to close the ports. Lots of posts on Nortes here on SB.
If you see Eagle Rays, get lower than they are. If you are above them horizontally/laterally, they spook more easily and will probably turn.
