I just returned from a dive trip to Cozumel, Mexico. I was there one month after the hurricane. There was a lot of damage to the large hotels on the beach. The town was in excellent shape and didn’t show much damage. The reefs changed somewhat, especially the swim troughs which have increased in size and quantity. I have been diving with Bottom Time Divers for about three years now. Raul Platas is the owner and dive master, He formally worked for Blue Bubble Divers for many years. Most of the staff moved on to other dive operators after many owner changes at BBD. Raul started his own business and has carried on with the original Blue Bubble Divers personal service. Raul has a small fast boat and takes only 6 divers max. Raul will take you to all the great reefs of Cozumel. I highly recommend Bottom Time Divers for your next trip to Cozumel.
